A storm was coming. Sniffing the air, Teurven glared up at the sky for a moment before making his way down the dark street. The air was surprisingly cool for a summer night. Didn't matter much to Teurven anyway. He didn't like the rain, but it was just water after all. The smell that lingered on him and his comrades was less than desirable though. Thunder rolled in the distance, making Teurven flinch. He'd never liked thunderstorms, especially when he was a pup.
'Better find somewhere to stay...' Teurven sighed. He was too far from his own home to make it back before the storm. Trotting towards the first building he saw, Teurven slipped through the doorway just as the rain started to fall.
"Anyone here?" Teurven called into the dark hallway. In the distance, something made a scuffling noise, but no voices called back to him. Deciding that the building was empty, Teurven made his way through the dusty house until he came to a bedroom. He heaved himself onto the closest matress, sighing as he shut his eyes and tried to sleep.

A rumble a thunder clashed in the sky as Lady walked in the night. She stopped and looked up at the night sky as a flash of lightning stretched across the darkness, lighting it up briefly but then going dark once more. She sniffed the air to smell the sweet scent of rain from the distance, coming this way. Although she loved the rain, getting caught in it did not please her one bit.
She looked around with her blue and brown eyes for a place of shelter but there was nothing to hide in. ‘I need to find a place to stay for the night,’ Lady thought as she started walking once more in the night. A light cooling drizzle started coming from the sky along with a cooling breeze messing some of her thick and soft white and redish fur on her back.
Soon, the cold water started pouring out of the night sky and Lady started running for cover. Her paws splashing in the pools of water that formed quickly on the sidewalk and streets. Lightning and thunder started going crazy, feeling her heart race from the loud noises and the flashes of light.
She finally came across a building and walked in without even check if anyone was in there. Once she was in the dark building she shook her fur to get the water of her. She looked back outside as more flashes of bright light and rumbling thunder became louder and louder, brighter and brighter. She sighed as she turned her attention back to the blackness ahead of her. 'This is it I guess,' she thought. Lady called out in the blackness of the building with a low nervous voice, “Hello… Is anyone in here?” She took a step forward into the darkness that seemed to go on forever. It was deathly quiet in the building besides the noises outside, giving her the feeling like she should leave. “It is pouring outside and I would like to stay here just for the night. I mean no harm,” She said as she walked in the darkness until she come across a dark mysterious bedroom.
The bedroom was dark as she took a weary step in, not knowing if someone was living here or if they would attack her. A big thunders doom came from outside the building, making her jump slightly. “Hello,” she said quietly, not seeing anyone. “Can I just stay until the storm passes?” she asked the darkness.

At the sudden sound of a new voice, Teurven lifted his head, looking around for the source of the disturbance. There, in the doorway stood a female husky. She didn't seem dangerous at all, but Teurven was seriously not in the mood for visitors. But then again, this wasn't his house either, so he had no real right to toss her out.
"You can stay," Teurven sighed, pushing himself up into a sitting position, "Just keep it down. I've had a hell of a long day..." He said, stretching out before casting her another glance. She seemed vaguely familiar, but she was definitely not a friend of his. Probably just a random dog he'd seen on occassion.
"What exactly were you doing out in this storm?" Teurven asked, laying back down and waiting silently for her answer.
