Pounding small hooves ran through the forest, white spots along the back hid it in the camoflauge of the forest, though it wasn't enough. It's scent being strong, the fear scent wafted through the air, pungeant and thick like blood, silent paws were on its heels.
Salmon pink tongue lolled out of the mighty alsatians mouth, light brown honey eyes fixed on the prey, instincts set to kill. His tongue came in, even though he needed to pant to release the heat from his body, he leapt in midair, coming down onto the deer, his fangs penetrated its neck, that one bite, killed the doe easily.
Letting up, he made silent prayer to Wakon Tonka for the kill. He looked up at the wind beaten trees, gently blowing in the breeze. His eyes rested not on the trees, nor the clouds, but something far off into the sky, as if he were looking at another living being somewhere up there.
His gaze shifted from above to below, before he bent down and began to eat, the crimson liquid splattering over his maw and chest, the front of his paws.
"Wonder what to do to day..." He thought to himself quietly, not seeing or hearing anyone around, Toushiro often thought to himself on a daily basis, listing notes mentally in his head on what to do and what needed to be done.

Hm... a fresh kill. Someone was hunting and Cody was going to find out who. Deep down, she kind of hoped it was a trespasser. She hadn't had a good fight in days and was really itching for one. She had been well behaved though, as she needed to stay on Axel's good side if she was going to survive. She knew that anyone that got on his bad side disappeared and it wasn't really that much a mystery as to why.
The trail led her to a fallen deer and standing over it, Toushiro, another member of Axel's gang. "Damn..." she huffed under her breath. She couldn't attack a fellow gang member without reasoning. That would definitely lose her major points with Axel. Hm, but she could always use Toushiro to get her a fight. She walked toward him, keeping her distance from the male as he was eating, after all.
"Got any plans today?" she asked casually once he seemed like he was mostly done. A plan was forming in her mind. She knew they weren't to murder without Axel's orders, but they could always cause trouble in the city. And that was exactly what she felt like doing.

While eating his kill, footsteps were heard, but the scent smelled of Axel's filthy gang, just one mongrel. He didn't even look up in acknowledgement of the other dog. He ate the rest of his fill before swiping his tongue over his mouth.
Toushiro was not one to talk to any dog, not eve Cody. The pup was young compared to him, would probably be around the same age as his pups if they had lived that night. He turned around, tail swishing behind him before relaxing at an easy low level. He knew other dogs would come to the kill now, and he would leave it for them whenever they got hungry enough.
The one hit attack to the deer's neck showed just how easy it was for Toushiro to kill. In other words, practice for when he did his other jobs. He looked as if he didn't have his guard up, but in truth, it was never let down.

Cody didn't really react to Toushiro's silence. He was never one to talk and she knew that. As much as she wanted to go out and cause some trouble, she knew better than to follow him and continuously ask him if he was busy, as that was both very pup-like, and very irritating. She respected Toushiro, as he was much older than her. She looked at his kill, studying it.
"Such precision..." she spoke under her breath again, more to herself than to anyone that might be around. She admired the male's strength. His ability to take down a deer on his own in one shot clearly showed why Axel had him around. Dogs put up a fight, yes, but they are often much easier targets than deer. If Toushiro could take down a deer like that, no dog stood a chance against him. That was part of the reason Cody didn't bother him any more as well. She not only admired and respected him, she feared him a little. But she didn't think of it as a bad thing. One can't think of everyone in Axel's gang as a friend if one hopes to survive.
A thought crossed the Canaan's mind. There had been a murder the night before and the dogs had apparently left a tricky trail for the Caenine City forces. Cody couldn't help but wonder if their trickery had worked and thrown off the officers. No longer wanting to cause trouble, but wanting to check stuff out, she trotted toward Toushiro, keeping a respectful distance. "Hey, I was going to head into the city to check some stuff out. Want to come along?" She wasn't sure how the male would react, but she figured she would ask him anyway.

Toushiro heard the dog speak again, this time his head slowly turned towards her halfway, his honey colored eyes showing malice and apathetic to its gaze, yet the gaze was enticing and was rather cold in all types of aspects. Looking at her through the corner of his eyes, he let out a brush of air through his nostrils, scoffing in other words.
"What reason would I have to travel with a little pup like you?" He asked in his cold voice, his maw seemed to barely move with the words, yet they were clear cut like ice on a cold morning.
His body turned to face her, like a ghost in the mid evening, his coat was so white it looked as if it should be transparent in the rays that shone on him, yet they bounced off, white fur glistening, his expression was unchangable. He was truly an evil looking character.
Cody seemed to act rather respectively, he guessed he wouldn't leave her alone. Even though she was a follower of Axel. Right now would have been the perfect time to kill an Axel follower and no one would know, the thick scent of deer blood was strong and would have covered the dog blood scent easily. Instead, he would let her live, he didn't kill females anyway. It was against his honor, for only if she were male, he would have done away with her the second she walked near him earlier.
Still, even though he made his mind up to go with her, he would wait for her answer, just to see what she would say.

The scent of blood returned Risk back to the land of the present and the sound of voices made sure she woke fully alert. The smell of fresh blood was nothing new to her and the blood of a deer even less so. An annoyed snarl escaped her lips and she grimaced as she straightened legs stiff from staying in one position to long. The silent steps of someone that was used to death and had brought it to many carried her closer to the smell of blood and other dogs. The dogs, whom she quickly identified as fellow members of Axel's Gang, were Cody and Toushiro. To be an assassin you had to have good stealth but Risk was not past using brute force sometimes. The Akita and German Shepherd gave her an abundance of strength when she needed it. Risk shoved her way through the remaining bushes in her path and walked straight toward the deer, not caring that she walked right between Cody and Toushiro. She tore a chunk out of the remains of the deer and took her time eating it. She wasn't hungry but life on the streets as a pup had taught her to eat when she could. As she took another chunk of meat from the deer and began eating that she turned to the two other dogs. She couldn't help smirking at Cody, as she listened to Toushiro's response to a question the other female dog must have asked before she arrived. Cody was the youngest of the three dogs there with Toushiro being the oldest. The fact that Toushiro was older than her didn't bother her a bit. As far as she was concerned, they were all dogs. Rank and age didn't factor into how much she respected another dog. What did factor in was skill and Risk had to admit to herself, Toushiro did have skill. The fact that he had skill didn't mean she was going to treat him differently than other dogs she had to deal with. "Other than to act as a chaperon? I don't know Toushiro, you might have to let her hold onto your tail so she doesn't get lost too. It would be a shame if she disappeared during her little adventure and turned up dead a couple days later."

"What reason would I have to travel with a little pup like you?" Cody thought about it for a second. She wasn't quite sure exactly why she had asked him in the first place. She was confident she could do what she wanted to on her own and she never asked for help. She figured she had asked mostly to be polite. A slight shiver flowed through her veins at the white male's gaze. So ghost-like... So cold... She mentally shook it off and returned to figuring out how to answer Toushiro's question.
She didn't get to answer before Risk jumped in. "Other than to act as a chaperon? I don't know Toushiro, you might have to let her hold onto your tail so she doesn't get lost too. It would be a shame if she disappeared during her little adventure and turned up dead a couple days later." She turned to Risk, not pleased in the slightest. The female was only a year older and Cody didn't appreciate what was being said. Of course, she had walked into it; she was the one that had asked the older male to join her on her 'little adventure,' after all.
"While I appreciate you looking out for me, I am perfectly capable of looking out for myself. There is a reason I'm a scout, after all. No, I was asking because I had plans for the day and was giving Toushiro the chance to have something to do if he wanted. I don't need him to come with me, thank you very much." She didn't care that she was getting defensive and rude. She hated being talked about like she was a puppy that couldn't do anything on her own. She was still young, yes, but she could handle herself.

Her paws falling on teh ground as soft as leaves and her thin frame weaving among teh trees like a dark specter, Whistler approached the other dogs calmly, pausing at a hill crest whre she could see them but not be seen herself. Her pale yellow eyes scanned teh dogs while her hound ears twitched occasionally. Axel ahd not given ehr any orders to watch the gang members, but with Rev gone doing something, the hound found herslf bored and decided to watch anyway, she might find out something interesting Axel would want to hear.
Careful so she wouldn;t alert them of her position, the slender female sat on the hill, the old scars across her neck dimly lit through the coarse hairs of her dark coat.

Toushiro glanced at the female who walked straight through the small useless talk they were having, seeing she went straight for the deer. He wasn't hungry anymore and the female looked like she was.
Icy yellow gaze turning back to the female again, he waited for her answer until the other seemed to answer for her. The female was dark in color, her breed obvious in his eyes, scent of Axel, she was rather flamboyantly intruding and didn't seem to care about being rude at all. Since when did any Axel members care though?
Getting lost in the conversation, he turned his back on them, though as strong as before, never let his guard slip. Lowering his cranium down lower to the deer, his maw slipped over the part of the back leg, grabbing the skin of the leg from the deer and tore it off, ignoring the other dogs that conversated now, he changed his mind. The female could look out for herself, and he didn't want to go into the city either. He had no reason to, but would probably eventually go to the city later sometime. Two was okay, but three's a crowd. He never liked to be around so many dogs anyway.
He trotted off with deer in mouth, to the car lot where he could hide the meat better and in the small area he called his home.

Whistler watched the qwhite male as he stood, grabbing his kill in teh process and padded from the two females. For a split second, she thought fo following, Thre was an unease he caused in the deerhound... something was wrong.
The slender hound lowered her head, the feeling being replaced by an uneased a prey nimal might feel before its stalker appeared. She lifted her head to gaze around before she got to her paws adn took off at a flat sprint, the wind whistling behind her as she headed for teh city. Rev had mentioned it before he left, and she needed o ensure her friend was alright.

Whistler strode into the forest again, the pain from her shoulder having receeded as she walked, although teh fur was still moist with blood. She paused between on a small opening among the trees, her pale eyes glinting off teh dim light. "About time you showed up." She growled a bit.
There was a cool chuckle from teh shadows before a large male moved into view. His coat was patched red brindle and white, his eyes seemingly black in teh darkness when in fact they were a dark red-brown,similar to dried blood. He glanced over his deerhoudn friend loosely. "I am sorry. I was, taking care of some business." He says, licking a remain of blood from his muzzle. He suddenly stopped, staring at her. "So,he did send someone."
"Wraith." Whistler growled under ehr breath. "What are we going to do Rev?"
"Of course. His trusted pet." Rev snorted before blinking. "We will stay..might as well.I have no intention of going back there. He'll have to drag my cold dead body if he wishes to see me again. We'll wait to tell Axel unless Wraith interferes with his plans."
Whistler nodded her head witha grin. "So,any new orders from the big boss?"
Rev shook his head. "Not of yet.. although I believe I saw a new cop come in.Doesn;t look serious, just one of those small-town dogs."
