Siobhan nodded. "I'm in the same boat as you. No job, not yet anyway." She noticed Bliss and Ruick had both left on their investigation. "How long have you guys been in Caenine City?"

Seven thought for a second, trying to remember. "I've been here for . . . fours years, I'm pretty sure," she said. Arrowen rolled her eyes. "I've lived here for three years," she said, leaping up onto Seven's back again.

Banshee tried to go back to sleep. She couldn't. The voices outside were bugging her. She dug herself out of the small comfortable pile of blankets that served as her bed. She yawned and pulled her plushie from under the blankets.
"Good morning! How was your sleep?", she said cheerfully and continued:"I had a wonderful dream! But...I forgot what it was about...Hey, how 'bout we go say hello to the neighbors?"
Banshee walked out of the apartment, down the staircase and out of the building. She immediately noticed two other females and a cat talking a few feet away from her. She wasn't a very social dog, but she'd decided she would at least try to get to know her neighbors. It wasn't very safe not to have any friends around here.
"H-Hello...?"
The albino came a little closer to the small group. Her pink eyes were moving from face to face. She felt a little strange talking to somebody else than her plushie which was now riding on top of her head.

Arrowen let out a startled screech and fell off of Seven's shoulder's. She shook herself and looked over at Banshee. "Oh, hello," she said. "Sorry 'bout that. You startled me." Seven turned to see who the cat was talking to. "Hi," she said, wagging her tail.

Banshee jumped back, her ears flat on her head. She was just as startled by the sudden screech of the cat as the cat herself. Then, as both the cat and one of the dogs spoke in a friendly way, she calmed down a bit.
"Umm...Hi, I-i-i'm Banshee...Uhh...I live up there..."
The albino motioned towards the building behind her with her head. So it wasn't going as bad as she had actually expected...
"Err...I heard you guys talking a-a-and I figured I'd come over to say hi...Umm...Do...Do you live around here...?"
Her pink nose twitched nervously. Was that the way she was supposed to talk? Did she do it right? She hoped she wasn't being rude or anything. Panic started to rise within her as it usually did when she was trying to talk to somebody.

Arrowen nodded. "Yeah." She pointed towards a small apartment building down the street. "I live there." Seven nodded to a building not to far away. "And I live in that one," she said with a kind smile.

Bliss stopped again, forgetting the trail as she lifted her face to teh rooftops. The light glinting off teh faded lights casted eeries shadows across her fur, and seeme to catch the old scar across her eye oddly. Her blue adn brown eyes rolled voer teh rooftops slowly, trying to find some kind of movement.
"Someone was there..." She sighs and looked around her, uneasy about teh atmosphere now. "Maybe I should ahve asked someone else to come with me..." She sniffed tah air to find the trail again, eyes shifting from the ground to teh roofs.

The startled yowl from Arrowen caused Siobhan to jump. She shook her fur out and then smiled at the female that had just joined them. "It's nice to meet you Banshee. I'm Siobhan." She had noticed that neither Arrowen or Seven had given their names, but she didn't care. She was far too friendly to care about who knew her name. "I live a few blocks down." She said in response to the question asked. She noticed the plushie on the female's head. "Aw, that's cute." She nodded towards it, smiling and her tail wagging. "Does it have a name?"
She remembered her human owners and how the little boy had been very attached to his stuffed animals and had named them all and even given them all personalities. She knew inanimate objects could be the best source of comfort at times. She had adored the stuffed bear chew toy she had been given. Alas, it had been packed along with everything else when her humans had left. But that was in the past. Siobhan still smiled as she awaited a response.

Seven suddenly realized that she and Arrowen hadn't introduced themselves properly. She internally kicked herself. "Sorry for not saying this earlier," she said. "I'm Seven, by the way. The cat is Arrowen."

The German Shepherd listened as each of the three said where they lived and what their names were.
"Pleased to meet you all!"
Her tail started wagging, but not very energetically as she was still a bit shy and uneasy. Then she remembered that the one who introduced herself as Siobhan asked about an "it". At first Banshee was confused and she tilted her head slightly, looking into Siobhan's eyes, not realizing that it might have looked slightly disturbing as her eyes had an eerie pink color. Then, as she followed the other dog's gaze, she figured that she must have been talking about the plushie on her head.
"Oh! His name is Loof. He is my best friend."
Then she suddenly felt stupid for saying that a stuffed doll was her best friend. But, stupid or not, it was true.

"Oh! His name is Loof. He is my best friend." Siobhan's smile grew wider. "Cool. It must be nice having a best friend that'll never leave you." Her thoughts trailed back to her human boy momentarily. He had been her best friend and he had left her... She quickly snapped her attention back to the present conversation. "It's nice to meet you, Loof." She didn't think about the fact that many dogs said this kind of thing to tease others. It didn't occur to her, as she was being completely genuine and had absolutely no intention of teasing the German Shepherd.

Bliss padded along the trail she had followed, shaking off rain as it started to soak into her dence coat. She sighed deeply, frustrated by the rain, although her trail had run cold long before it started to pour.
One trail was a diversion... I'm sure of it... They wanted as group to split up... She thought quietly to herself as she moved. Finally she reached the same alley where she had met Rurick, and looked around for the young officer, ears twitching, her eyes blinking often to rid them of rain.
"I hope he's ok...." She says,seeing the officerwasn't around.

"Cool. It must be nice having a best friend that'll never leave you."
Banshee nodded in agreement. It really was nice. Though she would gladly give up Loof to have her human girl back. Suddenly a cold drop of water fell on her pink nose. She let out a quiet whimper. Soon it was pouring and the albino was soaked. Her rather skinny body became visible through the now almost transparent fur. She was shaking from the cold.
"Errm...W-w-would you guys w-w-want to c-c-come over to m-m-my place? I-i-it's dry and I h-h-have b-b-blankets..."
She was freezing in the cold rain. She hated the cold. Though she figured it wouldn't be very polite to just turn her back on the three and go home without at least offer shelter. She looked at them awaiting their answer.

Arrowen shook her head. "Sorry, I can't. I left my work at my place and I need to finish it by tomorrow," she said. She looked at Seven. "I'll see you later." The cat slipped into the shadows and disappeared. Seven shook, trying to get rid of the water than was soaking her thin fur. "Sure," she said to Banshee with a warm to smile.

Siobhan shook her fur out as it started to rain. She loved the wet weather, but fur sticking to the skin was always uncomfortable. "Sure, why not. Let's head off now. You look like you could use some warming up." She smiled and shook her fur out again, despite the uselessness of it seeing as within seconds it was sopping wet again.
